Remodeling bathrooms in the Triad
The Piedmont Triad is the core of BathPeak’s service area. Many homes in the region were built between the 1950s and the 1980s — mid-century ranches in Greensboro, brick split-levels around Winston-Salem, and mill-era houses in High Point and Thomasville. Those bathrooms tend to share the same problems: cast-iron tubs nobody uses, mortar-bed tile that has quietly been leaking for a decade, undersized 1.5-inch drain lines, and galvanized supply that needs replacing before a single tile goes on the wall.
That is why our Triad estimates spend as much time on what is behind the wall as on finishes. We open a small inspection area before we quote whenever a home predates 1985, so the price we hand you already accounts for subfloor repair, drain resizing or venting corrections instead of arriving later as a change order. Permit requirements vary by project and jurisdiction. BathPeak will explain any required permits or inspections during the project planning process.
Triad bathrooms are also typically smaller than what we see further south, so the design work is about buying back usable space: a 60-inch tub alcove converted to a curbless shower, a wall-hung vanity that recovers floor area, or a relocated door swing.
